St. Patrick's Day Parade!

"Look Nola, the firetrucks are coming!"

"But can I have some of your pretzel first."
"The STAR of the day!"
"Nola & Mom"
"Yeah a parade! Wait, where are all the cabbages, carrots and potatoes?"

Today we went to Nola's first St. Patrick's Day parade in Morristown to celebrate her Irish heritage. The three of us went with Aunt Caitlin, Bailey, and we finally got to hang out with Aunt Siobhan and John. We all had a blast even though it is much different than the parades we are used to. Nola was screaming "Hey Mister!," but all she got was a plastic football. Despite the lack of throws, we all loved the Irish dancers and green spray-painted poodles. Oh, and Jay loved the corned beef sandwiches!

Nola looked as though she had a Great time at the parade. Were there cabbages being passed out, or is that just Louisiana? And is the Aunt Siobhan you speak of Uncle Nolan's cousin? Happy St Paddy's Day Nola, Jay and Kellie-Boo We love you!!

I love going over and over- all of the pictures and videos that you so generously shared over Nola's life-when she was swimming and jumping within you and now crawling and standing outside of you- She has been such a blessing to watch grow- Each week (sometimes a few times a week) I say to myself- "Let me go to Nola's website and watch and listen to the joy she brings to the whole world- and especially to her Mommy and Daddy- Kellie- I so enjoyed watching you from newborn baby until now- spreading sunshine wherever you went and go- Jay, we always prayed for a husband that would celebrate and compliment Kellie-boo's personality- You, too, are a joy. Please know that your family is a sweet refreshing reminder of what families are. Have a great day today- and thanks for sharing with us. God bless you
