Finally...Dad's Real Birthday & Lagniappe!

Our day started out just as planned...we got to BJ's early to get the oil changed and tires rotated, but guess what?...they don't do oil changes anymore.

After getting the car washed for Jay, as a surprise, going to get Tripp's birthday present, and going to the grocery, we came home to call Nana and wait for Jay. He took a half day so we could picnic at the park, but Jay's half day turned into 1:30 and Nola couldn't stay up anymore so we scratched the park. Instead, we took a ride to get our "new" used pop-up camper....that's right....we (and my parents) are now the new proud owners of a pop-up camper which we got for the Andersen reunion in August....and whenever else we go camping...I think Jay just joined the KOA (Campers of America). Aunt Pep came over to watch Nola on Tuesday since I had the retirement dinner at night...Aunt Pep & Nola like to read beach romance novels together. HAHA

Cousin Tripp taught Nola how to play the flute and she LOVES it. I think she is going for first chair!
