HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOLA!

This morning Nola woke up as usual but Jay and I sang "Happy Birthday" to her and she smiled...so maybe she knew it was her birthday or maybe it was because we've been practicing all week.

After an almost 3 hour nap, Nola ate lunch and changed into her birthday dress. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Despite the rain which kept everyone from swimming, Nola was playing with her friends and having a great time!

Then it was on to the cake! She freaked out a little! Maybe it was due to the paparazzi taking her picture....and this was only half her family!

But after everyone sang and clapped she got happy!

It took her a few minutes to dig in but she really liked it!

She LOVED squishing the cake in her fingers so as soon as she was done, it was STRAIGHT to the bath tub!

After a 20 minute nap and another costume change, it was time to open presents. She LOVED everything. THANK YOU for the generous gifts!

Aunt Joni, Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Jack, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Adrienne and Uncle Doug gave her this FUTURE TIGER rocking chair! She loved it!

She also LOVED the push car from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Jeff. It had alot of buttons and made alot of noise!

WHAT A GREAT PARTY!!! Thank you soooooo much to everyone who helped with the cooking a cleaning. Special thanks to the Rieckes who helped bake and decorate cookies and cake, found a grocery opened on July 4th because we didn't have enough eggs, helped clean the house, and served food at the party. Y'all are the BEST! Thanks to Aunt Heather for decorating the cake and cupcakes, and to Aunt Peppy and Grandma for taking cleanup duty. The party wouldn't have been a success without y'all!
