Lunch with the Girls & John and Liam AND Where's Jay?

Today my old team came over, Siobhan, Melissa & Peg. We had our favorite chicken sandwiches from the Irish Deli and caught up.Nola & John played in the pool. Ok, John watched Nola. He didn't want to go in.

After eating, talking, and running after kids, it was time for dessert.
Yum! Nola & John had fun making strawberry & blueberry shortcake...and so did we!

After everyone left and Nola napped, she and I were playing downstairs while we waited for Dad to come home. We played, we rocked, we read, and waited!

We played musical chairs and waited!

We colored and waited!

We played some more and waited!

SO when Nola started eating the crayons we couldn't wait for Dad anymore. We had to clean up and fix dinner cause she was hungry! I think we need more practice with coloring! When Jay did come home, after 6, he had some story about helping an old couple on the way out. That's what they all say! HAHA I do love my husband, even if he is ALWAYS late!
