A new friend & Dinner with Liz & Vinnie

Yesterday Nola & I finally had a playdate with Christine & Skylar who we met at our Gymboree trial class and then we ran into them on Mother's Day at Home Depot. We exchanged phone numbers and have been trying to get together for a while now.

Nola had no trouble jumping into other people's toys.

Here is Skylar. She was really cute with Nola. We had fun playing, swimming & talking. Thank you for a really nice time!

After a late nap, we woke up and got ready for Liz & Vinnie to come over. They are leaving next week for a year in Madagascar so we wanted to have them over for some fried catfish.

Here is Nola after she finished stuffing her face. I think she had 10 dinners. Doesn't she look like Pebbles?

Here are some cute pictures of Nola eating breakfast this morning.

I got her some mini bananas. She loves them!

Her talking seems a little clearer over the last few days. She said "Daddy" tonight and "bath" last night. She also says "ba" for bananas. We'll keep you posted!


Here is a bonus video. Nana gave her a Wiggles video and she LOVES it! She makes sounds for the upcoming songs even before they start. She's so cute! I wish I could video the whole thing. I think we might be starting dancing soon!
