Robert's First Birthday Luau!

Ok, so here's the background: Yesterday I had a bridal shower so it was up to Jay to get Nola to the birthday party and I would meet them there. I packed all the bags and set everything out. Nola had a very pretty flower dress with matching sandals and I left out the comb, ponytail holder and bow that I wanted her to wear. I left a napping Nola and hardworking Jay at 12 to go to the shower. Everything was discussed and Jay had it under control. Then, I missed a call at 2:15 and when I called back at 2:30 a frantic Jay answered and screamed "I CAN'T DO HER HAIR!" I giggled and said that's okay just give her some toys to occupy her. His reply: "SHE'S COVERED IN TOYS AND I CAN'T DO IT!. I put a bow in and we're leaving." I said, "It's okay, I'll do it when I get there."

THIS IS SO CUTE: When I got to the party, Christine pulled me aside and said I have to tell you something. She told me when Jay got to the party he came in carrying Nola and all the bags. She greeted him first and she said he was all flustered and screamed, "CAN YOU DO HAIR? Kellie does cute pigtails and ponytails, can you do it?" Christine laughed and said she could try but she thought Nola's hair looked cute. I would have paid to see Jay enter the party! (Jay picked out a different bow than I had picked out and put it in her hair to try to make it look nice. He also forgot the matching shoes to her dress and put shoes that were way too big on her.) Isn't my husband so cute! I love him! And I told him we'd practice doing hair!!!
