HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Okay, I know y'all wanted to see Nola first but my OCD needs me to write this in chronological order! We had a very BUSY & FUN week! It started Tuesday night with the mom's night out scavenger hunt. What a fun time! It was the closest I will ever come to being in "Midnight Madness." I was even on the blue team! I was with two other girls who I didn't really know, I said "Hi, I'm Kellie & I'm very competitive!" The best part was that when my team finished, I started running inside with the car still in drive and when we got inside....we were LAST! Everyone had already started drinking. HAHA! We still had a fun time...that damn gas guy... couldn't figure out how to give $.66 of gas!

Here are a few things we had to do:

Wednesday was Halloween in Hawthorne! This is becoming a tradition, where Nola, Aunt Peppy & I go around to visit all of the older aunts and uncles and Nola trick-or-treats! Thank you for being so generous!

Next we were off to Grandma & Grandpa's for dinner and more trick-or-treating!

Thursday afternoon, it was the much anticipated Trunk -or-Treat with the Mom's club. The kids had a blast but it was FREEZING so we didn't stay out too long. We headed to the Atwell's for more play!

The night before Halloween is called Mischief or Goosie night in New Jersey, where kids go out and roll houses or a lot worse. Luckily our street just got rolled but it was pretty funny!

Halloween morning, we gave Nola her little shopping cart. She loves it!

I took a half day and went to get Nola and we visited Jay at work. He took her around to see his friends, we had lunch together, and then we headed home for a nap before the party!

That afternoon we headed to the Atwell's for the party! Lots of Nola's friends were there. They played, trick-or-treated, ate pizza, did crafts & danced!

After play was trick-or-treating. Look at the bee right up in the front. She is a total pro from all the practice during the week. I can't wait till next year!

After this the kids had a dance-off to burn the sugar off!

I looked at my watch, because I was EXHAUSTED and it said 7pm....WHAT! it definitely felt like Midnight so we were all in bed by 9pm!
