HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

For my 2nd Mother's Day, we went to Sesame Place in Pennsylvania. Jay was at a bachelor party so he met up with us in the afternoon. Nola & I got to the park right when it opened and we were able to try all the rides. Nola rode the tea cups, flying animal ride, carousel (she cried the entire ride while holding on to me), and this Peek a Bug ride. She LOVED all the rides except the carousel and she thought she was actually driving the tea cups. It was hard to get pictures when it was just the two of us. After the rides we went to a free play center where Nola could run around. She kept trying to build a big tower! While we were there I was eavesdropping and heard some people talking about shows. I asked them about it and since they were all included in our ticket price we made sure to go.

Nola freaked when Elmo first came down the aisle but then she was dancing and clapping the whole show. It was all about fishes!

In the afternoon I ran in to my friend James who was there with his daughter, Lily, wife, Nicole, and baby t0-be Sophie Rose who is due in August. We had such a fun time!

Remember this game from the Strawberry Festival? Well Nola did and she immediately started screaming "Pick the Duckie!" I paid $5 to insure her a "medium" prize and 3 picks instead of 1. On the first try she got a medium sticker, second try a large sticker, and third try a small sticker.
Here is the "large" prize she won but as soon as we got it she screamed, "Put it back and pick another duckie!" She cracks us up!

If you are looking for a birthday present for Nola: I'm sure she would LOVE this game! Unfortunately, we have a big duck in our pool with chlorine in it and she tries to pick it!

It was such a treat and we got to see so many cool animals!

Before our Mother's Day brunch we took Nola to the gift shop for a prize. She picked an Abby Caddaby Doll-Aren't they soooo cute together?

(P.S. She sleeps with her at night now. One arm holds Abby and one holds Mike)

The brunch was VERY interesting. Nola was completely freaked out by the characters and held on to us for dear life, until the end when she was looking for Elmo! She wouldn't take a picture with any of them but she did wave at the end! I really hope she grows out of this stage!

After our brunch we met back up with the Wiegands for the parade!

After the parade, we went on a few more rides!

The parade was cute! It was like a mini-version of what they do at Disney!
Nola was dancing a waving at the characters!

Of course we couldn't leave with some dessert! We all shared an ice-cream and I'm sure you can tell who liked it the best!

We had so much fun & I can't wait to do it again!
