HALLOWEEN MARATHON 2009!

The Andersen family celebrated Halloween for almost a whole week. It started on Wednesday with Nola's parade and party at school.

Jay couldn't make the parade so he made the mini cupcakes for the party!
What a great dad! And they were yummy too!

The weather did not cooperate so all of the parents were shoved into the hall to watch the kids make two laps around. This was my first school event for Nola since the first day of school and that feeling of emotion came over me once again. Nola's class was in the beginning of the parade and as soon as I saw her I started crying.
I really need to get a grip!
I just can't believe she is growing up so fast!
When she saw me she got so excited the first time and the second time around she got upset so I jumped in and walked her to her class. It was really cute!

Carlye was crying so one of her teachers was holding her!
After the parade the kids went into their rooms for their parties. Ann Marie took turns going to Carlye's and Sydney's rooms while I stayed with Sydney and Nola.

Miss Eileen and Miss Christine sang the please and thank you song with the kids.

Yummy!

Look at all the treats!

Sydney Rose

These two should have dressed as pigs for Halloween! JK

The famous Chester that Nola talks about all the time.
He is pretty cute!

Ava was a ladybug and Gianna was Piglet!

I got my last few hugs before I had to go back to work!

The school set up a photo shoot area so we had the girls pose for a picture.
Then each kid got to take a pumpkin home.

Saturday morning we had a Halloween party after Stroller Fit. Nola definitely got her money's worth out of her costume. Everyone LOVED her other Halloween outfit! Nola was pretty much done with the partying I think. She threw a little tantrum on the floor when I tried to take her picture! See Video
She got so many compliments! Thanks Nana!

My Biggest Loser partner Stacey, her husband Steve and their 4 month old twins Jack & Julia!

Saturday afternoon after nap we headed to the Atwells for their Halloween party. We met everyone trick-or-treating in the neighborhood because Nola slept late. The kids didn't stay out long because it was raining. What a bummer!

We headed back to the Atwells for fun and pizza!

"Mom, next year I want to be an M&M!"

Nola sugared up!

"What do you mean there's no candy left? Check again!"

Pooped after a LONG few days!
We stayed and watched the Yankee game and everyone fell asleep because we were all exhausted! But what a fun Halloween! Till next year!
