Christmas in New Orleans!
We started our trip by having our annual Christmas dinner at Aunt Ne' and Uncle Dan's house. Nola was quick to try out Dan Michael's new toys.
Monday we headed to the new Mellow Mushroom in Covington. The staff was great with the kids and gave them their own dough to play with.
My aunt threw a party for my cousin Elyse who was in from Canada. It was really nice to see a lot of my cousins.
Cute Mackenzie!
We had to wait until New Years day for Aunt Christy to get in town so we could open presents. You might think the kids would be tired of opening presents after going from house to house, but not our kids. It was like an addiction. When they saw a present....game on! It was so hard to keep them back and Nana even let them open one a day. It was all worth the wait though!
While preparing for Uncle Mike & Aunt Brandi's engagement party on Saturday, we made a quick pit stop for the kids to burn some energy. What better place than a toy store. I promise we didn't buy anything...we just let them push the baskets around. It was so funny because I must have heard 10 moms say, "there is no way you need another toy!"
"I'm ready for Supermarket Sweep!"
Family Shot at Mike & Brandi's engagement party.
Look at how we've grown!
The Happy Couple!
