The Vargas' Visit & Our 7th Annual Crawfish Boil

The Vargas family spent the week in Philadelphia and Sesame Place, and were even able to come visit us in New Jersey. Friday night Carrie helped get everything ready for the crawfish boil while Marcos cooked us dinner.

Saturday morning Marcos took a ride into Hoboken to Carlos' Bakery (Cake Boss). He brought home tons of treats for all of us.
"Thanks Uncle Marcos!"

Jay was extremely excited that everyone was using the pool. The fence was a great addition and it was apparent everyone could relax a little now that no one can just fall in.
I can't believe how many kids were here.

This year we got 110 lbs. of crawfish that Jay cooked in 4 batches.
They were hot, juicy & delicious!

I had to get a shot of our little pro crawfish eater. She is still working on peeling. She is only good at getting the heads off, but she'll get it soon.
Sydney even tried one but she said they were spicy.
Maybe next year!
