Happy 3rd Birthday Nicky!

Nola's friend from the mom's club had his 3rd birthday at an Italian Ice Shop. When we got there there was a big fire truck outside for the kids to climb on.

Happy Birthday Nicky!

Then they tried to play games with the kids. It was a version of hot potato but no one wanted to give up the doll. It was pretty funny...all the kids got stickers!

Everyone waiting patiently for the doll.

After games it was time for pizza.

Yummy!

After pizza it was time for the best part...DESSERT!

Every kid got to special order their dessert!

Thanks for a great time!

To the City to See the Tigers Play!

We headed to NYC to the LSU bar to watch the Tigers beat Mississippi State. Nola had a great time being the center of attention. She wore her new squeaky shoes so we could keep an ear on her at all times!

"What do you mean they scored?"

Nola & Mom showing off our new tattoos! Nola finally let me put one on her.
Might as well let the first be for the Tigers!

After the game we walked to the M&M store.
We thought it was so close but 40 blocks & $30 later...

We partied too hard I guess!

Annual Apple Picking!

We were headed to our annual apple picking with Cheryl, Jack, Lisa & Joni and Nola found her flower hat. Isn't she soooo cute?!

Work it girl!

The whole ride there Nola kept talking about the "apple pick." She couldn't wait to get started. Unfortunately, Jay & I weren't too happy since we were in his Honda (we parked at the bottom) and had to lug the wagon up the big hill to meet everyone.

While Jay & I were trying to catch our breath Nola jumped out and started picking apples. I do have to say that this year the apples were much more plentiful. We went a few weeks earlier and we filled up our bag in about 20 minutes.

Jack's nephew rode in the wagon with Nola and the two of them had so much fun picking apples and eating some too!

After picking our apples we headed down to the fun. We ate apple cider donuts, Nola sat in the pumpkin patch, but she wouldn't ride the pony this year. Not sure why.

Her daddy found her two baby apples that she carried home the whole way.
She LOVED them!

Before heading home Nola feed the goats at the petting zoo.

She loved feeding them grass. They ate it right from her hand. Nola also got her first tattoo. She wouldn't get it on her face but she did get a little pumpkin painted on her hand. It was really cute but washed off in about 5 minutes.

Thanks for a great time & we can't wait until next year!
