Happy Birthday Christian Markley!

Jay & Nola went to Christian Markley's first birthday fiesta!

There were tacos, rice & animals!

The Laurie Berkner Concert!

We went to see the Laurie Berkner Band in Princeton, NJ with the Hannagans.
She sings on Noggin in between shows.

"Mom, I'm tired of you taking pictures of me!"

The theme of the concert was "Birthday Party," kids were told to wear party hats and to bring a wrapped book to donate to children. I thought it was very cool!

We couldn't find a party hat at our house but luckily we could buy one for a buck!

As soon as the music started, Nola was up and dancing in the aisle. She is so ready for dancing school. She needs a little help with her coordination.

The Hannagans were a little late but John & Liam jumped right in to dance with Nola!

Oh, they were also supposed to bring an animal for their head when she played that song.
Nola brought Ellie from the circus!

After the concert we walked around Princeton, had lunch and played in the park!
The kids had a fantastic time!

Brandi's Bridal Shower!

While we were in town we got to throw Brandi one of her bridal showers.
We had a luncheon at Nanny's house and everything was beautiful!

Christy & I made some delicious chicken salad!

Easter in New Orleans

Wednesday night Nola & I flew to New Orleans for Aunt Brandi's bridal shower!
Nola did really well!

Thursday Aunt Christy & Tripp came to meet us.
The kids got a ton of Easter treats from Nana & Grumps!

It wouldn't be a complete trip without the "doduts!"

Friday morning the kids were all ready for their annual Easter egg hunt!

Nola was ready this time!

Friday afternoon we headed to Pontchatoula for their annual strawberry festival.
Of course, our first stop was Nola's favorite game!

"I can't stop until I win the biggest prize!"

"Oh I'm sorry...we just wanted to win the noisiest prizes!"

Next stop was face painting!

Nola got a butterfly!

Tripp went for the John Deere!

Next we were off to try to win a bunny! What?! Don't worry they didn't even come close and I think Nana & Grumps were just as relieved as we were!

We couldn't leave without listening to some music and tasting some delicious foods.
The seafood stuffed potato was my favorite!

It was so nice to hang out with family & friends.
It was quick as always but we had a lot of fun!
