Annual Trip to Pittsburgh

We got in late Friday night so we got up early Saturday morning and tried to make Dave's softball game. After watching the last inning, we headed to downtown Pittsburgh to hang out at Station Square!

Very cool water fall that would change as the music did so you never knew when you would get wet!

30 weeks!

Saturday night I walked upstairs after my shower and almost peed my pants.
Scuba Steve was in the bathtub.

Christy said it is a nightly ritual that he swims in the tub for at least an hour and he'll swim under water to get the dive sticks!

We left the kids with a babysitter and headed to Christy's Surprise 30th party!

We hope all your wishes come true!

Sunday morning we headed to Idewild, an amusement/water park for the kids!
There was soooo much to do. We started with the zip ride. Tripp was a pro!

Nola wanted to try so Jay helped her!
Great Job Nola!

Next were the potato sack races!

Fun times with the balls!

Whos's the kid here?!

Then we did the boat races....see video below.
The Clays vs. The Andersens...see who won!

I was really bummed to miss this one.
They all had a blast!

Then we headed to Storyland. Very cool!

When you walk in you meet Mother Goose!

Each little stop represented a nursery rhyme.

ADORABLE!

"Come on Tripp, Let's get the treasure and get outta here. I'm scared!"

"Nola, it can't be that bad. We're getting candy from a stranger!"

The little engine that could!

Little Mice!

Tripp & Nola with Goldilocks!

Three Little Pigs!

Aunt Christy's favorite ride as a kid.

We even got to tour Mr. Roger's neighborhood.
Not that the kids know who he is but it was kinda cute!

We also went to the water park but I didn't take any pictures because it was the only thing I could do. Then we were off to the rides.

We couldn't leave without playing some games!

The fishing game!

"Nola, just what we needed..more cheap toys to fill out playrooms!"

Finally, we ended with trip to the gift shop. Thanks Kelly & Ms. Sharon who got the kids hats and cork guns. It was priceless watching them shoot each other!

Monday before we left, the guys were working and we were recouping from a long weekend. When David got home we heard him gasp and say,"Come see what your kids did!" Nola, who was standing next to me said, "Mom, I'm really sorry!" We got up and saw they had colored ALL over the wall. I asked Nola what happened. Her story: "I got the marker on Aunt Christy's table next to her pills and we had to draw a string for the Pinata for the birthday party!" Gotta love the honesty but we are really sorry Dave & Christy. The check is in the mail. HeeHee

"It's a hard knocked life for us!"

THANK YOU for an incredible weekend. We all had a blast and can't wait for y'all to come for Labor Day. We love you!

Nola's 1st Day at Dance Camp!

Ann told us about a dancing school in Denville that had a 5 week dance camp. We wanted to see if Nola liked it before we signed her up in September so this was perfect. She will be doing ballet and tumbling for 45 minutes every Wednesday night.

SMILE!

Sydney showing off her moves!

Parents have to sit outside but they put the kids on the television so we can watch.
I took a few shots before they closed the door.

So lady like Nola!
The girls seemed to really like it.
Nola even did the tumbling, but we'll see how long that lasts!
I am hoping this will help her gracefulness!
