TRIPP'S CHRISTENING

We had a great time in Texas last weekend! David, Christy & Tripp put on a nice FIESTA and we got to hang out with Nana, Grumps, Grammie, Pipaw, & Uncle Miggity. Nola had a fun time playing with all of Tripp's toys and friends.

We think Nola has said her first word, "DADA", despite months of teaching "MAMA." She also waves to herself. It is really cute and I think she is practicing "Hey lady, Throw da whole pack!"

Thanks Tripp for introducing me to yogurt and banana. You really get to eat the cool stuff!!! See you Thursday in New Orleans for our FIRST Mardi Gras! I can't wait!!!

6 Month Checkup!

Hello all! Well, we can't believe our baby girl is over 6 months now. Time is surely flying! Nola got her six month shots the other day and Jay came for the first time. I think Nola did better than her dad. HAHA! She got 4 shots in her legs and then drank the 5th one.
She is still in the 50% across the board: Weight: 15.14lbs., Height: 26 in., Head Circumference: 17 in.

She has started eating more baby food and even had a turkey dinner the other night. Watch out!
Nola is still crawling backwards, swimming on her tummy, sitting independently, and she is getting ready to crawl forwards. She is also talking more, a few new sounds, but still mostly, "G' and "NG."

Nola has been really stuffy this week. She woke up two nights in a row screaming cause she couldn't breath. We had to sit in the bathroom breathing steam from the shower. She kept looking at me like "Mommy Help Me!" It broke my heart cause I couldn't fix it.

Nola & I are headed to Texas this weekend for Tripp's christening. We will keep you updated when we get back. Please say a prayer that the weather cooperates. There is supposed to be snow Thursday into Friday.
